  1. No confirmation it's Dolby-only though. Could be full wide like the Empire 40th re-release in Sep 2020. Or maybe it is PLF-specific like Rogue One. We'll see.
  2. If there's Star Wars fans in here, you may be happy about what might be coming on April 28...
  3. A source of mine said the ingested file's runtime for the Mystery Movie lines up with Champions almost exactly. He seems pretty certain that's what the movie is. Unlike previous Mystery Movies, no codename was given for this one, so it'll be a little harder to pinpoint these exactly from now on. I'm assuming @Eric Bear and @ringedmortality might be interested in this information as well since they've asked about these in the past.
  4. Think Jesus Revolution has a very good shot at getting an A+ CinemaScore. Verified RT audience score still sitting at 100% after 250+ ratings.
  5. Tickets for A Thousand and One went on sale today, coincides with Focus’ trailer launch. Won the Grand Jury prize at Sundance, where I saw it. Very much deserved, highly recommend checking it out when it opens. Additionally, Sony’s comedy The Machine has a live event scheduled for the Thursday night before release (May 25). Tickets for that are also now on sale.
  6. To be fair to Wick 4, if the runtime is as long as reports suggest, 3pm previews will, for once, make slight sense. That might also be the earliest Thurs preview night Lionsgate has done? They’re not even starting that early for Jesus Revolution. (Although, regarding preview nights any day of the week, I think the Xmas Eve preview shows of American Underdog started quite early, if my memory serves me right)
  7. 65 and John Wick 4 tix seem like they’ll be on sale March 1.
  8. Think it was just EA, but not 100% certain. If sales are still strong through the weekend, that’s a good sign. Just didn’t want anyone thinking it was going too high based solely on how the EA is doing.
  9. Regarding Jesus Revolution, it should be noted that Lionsgate was giving out a lot of free tickets for those Early Access shows, which is possibly why they're as packed as they are. They might not be as indicative of how the movie will play out over the weekend, or what audience interest in general might be in the title, as they might seem (although I'm sure the following weekend showtimes prove that already).
  10. Correct. To think that the Infinity Saga only had one B range CS, meanwhile this saga already has four. 😣
  11. Dune 2 could still move up to its old October 20 date. I don't think that would be too much of an issue, unless it really can't be ready two weeks earlier. Come to think of it, Trolls 3 would benefit from moving up to Nov 3. First Trolls opened the first weekend of November against a Marvel movie in 2016 and did pretty well. Would benefit it to get some room ahead of Wish.
  12. On sheer inflation to 2023 dollars, it would be about $90.3m. There's probably more math that should go into it to get a more precise estimation, but it's Friday, so I'm lazy.
  13. This is actually just some weird re-titling and configuring going on over at The-Numbers, they still have this Exorcist movie on their calendar.
  14. @Magic Eric Creed 3 general tix should be on sale this coming Friday, the 17th. Apologies for the mishap, seems there was a last-minute change to only do EA sales on the 10th and begin general sales later.
  15. Last time would be Smile week 2 followed by Halloween Ends opening back in October, last with consecutive R-rated openings would be Don't Worry Darling opening followed by Smile opening in September.
  16. Annoyingly, it looks like they only put the Early Access shows on sale. I’ll try to figure out what’s going on.
  17. An additional clarification: these go on sale at around 11:30a est that day, rather than the usual 8/9a.
  18. Some movies don’t seem to be included on The-Numbers and such yet. Nothing for Women Talking, Fear, Amazing Maurice, Wandering Earth 2, etc.
  19. Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village tix on sale Feb 10. Once again, hope everyone has a terrific weekend.
  20. For those who haven't been in the Scream VI thread, the movie is now releasing in 3D, with a special 3D fan event on Mar 9.
  21. Can confirm this is releasing in 3D. There's even a fan event listed for Mar 9.
