  1. Going to make a much safer assumption that nobody’s mentioned Jesus Revolution (Lionsgate faith-based movie from the team behind I Can Only Imagine and I Still Believe) early access goes on sale Nov 1. No idea if general ticket sales start on the same date or not.
  2. I just noticed after I posted! Serves me right for posting so quickly. I was initially told Nov 3 for She Said, but it does look like it could be Nov 2 instead.
  3. Just as exciting as Avatar, hearing a tentative sale date of Nov 11 for Bones and All and Devotion. EDIT: Filmlover beat me to it!
  4. Happy Friday! I’m told Fabelmans is on sale Nov 1 and She Said on Nov 3.
  5. Sorry, not yet! 😖 I assure you I'll tag you once I hear anything. My source still hasn't received word on what the movie is, although he seems pretty confident it's not Fabelmans (For those lurking from r/boxoffice where I got "famous" for the last mystery movie after my BOT reply got shared over there, please do not post this as 100% confirmation, as I'm not ruling anything out completely just yet). The DCP file should be sent out for ingestion sometime late next week, so hopefully I'll hear something soon.
  6. Here ya go There’s the untitled 6 (though the Dec 2 one is now known), with One Piece that makes 7.
  7. As a notice to this board, Crunchyroll has not one, not two, but seven releases on the calendar for the next six months: Nov 4 - One Piece: Red Dec 2 - Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Jan 20 - Untitled Feb 3 - Untitled Feb 21 - Untitled Mar 3 - Untitled Apr 14 - Untitled The untitled ones were recently added a few days ago, with Quintessential Quintuplets being revealed as the Dec 2 title earlier today. I don't know how many of these will be nationwide with full shows like Dragon Ball, One Piece, etc. or which might be a little more limited like the Sword Art Online release last year, but Crunchyroll does seem to be significantly ramping up the amount of anime titles they'll be putting out into theaters.
  8. BOP's weekend forecast says Jane is opening in about 1,000 locations, same with Tar. They're estimating ~2k for Till.
  9. I love that the original title for that movie was The Plane. When I first saw that title when it was announced as going into production, I was thinking "Oh man, what a terrible title. I sure hope they change it!" And oh wow did they! Just didn't think they'd find a way to make it worse! It's like the trend of adding "The" before a title to signify it's a new movie (The Predator, The Suicide Squad, The Batman), but in reverse! The "Plane? More like Plain" review quotes write themselves.
  10. Damnit, Nick! Not Diet Coke! Dr. Pepper was always my favorite. Stopped drinking it a while back to cut back on caffeine since it was making me feel on-edge for most of the day and gave me terrible headaches later. I miss it, wish they'd bring back the caffeine-free version.
  11. Yeah, right on the money. Left some room open for A- based on previous Dwayne movies (Last I checked, Hobbs & Shaw was at the same verified RT and got A-), but it seemed pretty definitively B+ otherwise when it came to DC/comic book movies. Same score as both Suicide Squads, Justice League, and WW84 (all of which had steep declines) could mean bad news for next weekend, suppose we'll see.
  12. ... Dune didn't cost $200m though? I thought it was $165m, and BA seems to have cost at least $30m more than that. Dune also had the HBO Max day-and-date excuse, whereas BA does not. (Don't take this as me taking a side in this debate, just clarifying some things)
  13. Might be half-joking (and I haven't seen the movie yet), but I'd bet that it's hard to build word-of-mouth on a movie title that's hard to pronounce. I can't tell you how many different ways to say "Inisherin" I've heard over the past couple weeks. I think more people have just been calling it "the Colin Farrell/Brendan Gleeson movie," and neither of those two are big box office draws. Even if it did well in its limited release, I wouldn't be surprised if it failed to take off at a nationwide level.
  14. Couple small movies this week, hearing Call Jane on sale Thursday and The Menu on sale Friday.
  15. Workin' on it. I'm asking around, although it might still be a week or two before I get word about what it is. As mentioned, I would advise not leaning too much on the listed runtime. Regal's social media already seemed to imply in a post that it's a placeholder.
  16. By the way, Till's Thursday preview times in the places it expanded to started at 1pm! Has to be a new record. Only places it starts later is at theaters that aren't open til around 4. If you want to verify yourself, check Oct 27 at a theater that doesn't get Till until that weekend. Just make sure it's a theater that tends to be open early enough for it. @Porthos will be really "happy" if this happens for a major movie. It's... maybe inevitable, honestly.
  17. For what it's worth, a friend of mine did some seeking and found that zero AMCs are playing it this weekend. Zero Marcus theaters playing it this weekend too. I've only found one or two stragglers so far at random non-chain theaters, and I'm starting to suspect they booked it in error. Kinda odd to pull a re-release out of theaters like this when it's still making some money, no real reasoning when I don't think it costs all that much extra to keep playing it, especially when they already spent the P&A cash on it.
  18. Not to be overshadowed by another horror movie, Prey for the Devil goes on sale this Tuesday
  19. Avatar's re-release run concludes in the US tomorrow. From what I can tell, no theaters stateside are set to play it this weekend.
  20. @ChipDerby Hey, you're gonna run into some issues with Avatar on this week's derby. It's getting pulled from all US theaters come Friday. No theaters in NY, LA, etc. are booked to play it once Thursday ends. I don't think Disney will report anything for it.
  21. Another date that might get lost in the shuffle of Black Panther tracking, and one that was announced a while back (so I'm running the risk of sounding redundant, but I guess this can be a reminder): One Piece Film: Red goes on sale this Thursday.
  22. Correct. Sorry, I should've specified. Although, as Potiki pointed out, it seems to be getting extended in a few other territories as well.
