Jim believes rich people torture children to gather adrenalin to create psychedelic drugs. "adrenochroming" and it takes up about 2 minutes to see this conspiracy takes its roots in anti semitism. He sucks and is a weirdo. Funny how he has so little to say about the continued abuse by churches of minors.

I gotta say the trailer and marketing for this has been kind of whatever. I don't know, obviously you can't recreate the viral Cavill moment, but everything has been pretty flat to me marketing wise. I can see why tracking isn't jumping out crazy. I'm sure it will still do well but I'm not feeling much hype. I'm very excited for the film and will be there opening weekend though. Recently bought the 4K physical collection gonna give it another run through.

The Boogeyman holds confuse me because it was pretty bad, and I don't think I've seen anyone say something positive about it. Guess it's just a case of being the only horror around until Insidious. Still confused about why studios decided to drop popes exorcist and renfield same day with clear gaps on the calendar.

It's not hate. Just saying Wes Anderson is not a draw like that and doesn't belong in a sentence with people like Nolan. He makes silly quirky comedies with all star casts, it's not likes he out here making polarizing art house stuff, he isnt Lars Von Trier or something. And almost all of PTA's films are financial flops. The opposite of a draw. Being a critical darling doesn't mean you are a draw.

When it's just Gunn writing a script and talking to a couple of people like Safran and Zas, it's pretty easy to keep a lid on what's happening. When you're doing casting calls and auditions, the amount of people knowing about it about grows exponentially and it would be pretty hard to keep that unknown.

In the last 10 years DC leadership has changed 5 times. Snyder Johns Hamada De Luca and Abdy Gunn and Safran And each time, they announced a slew of projects with the vast majority never seeing the light of day. Seriously, going back and reading the announced DC projects in the last 10 years is downright insane. Each leadership change had their own ideas, end credits that tease projects that never happen, casts that get tossed in and out, reboots, tweaks, etc etc etc The brand is so damaged at this point that you cannot trust a single thing from DC. Even if you like something it goes nowhere anyway! Why should audiences care? It's no surprise that Joker and The Batman are the big successes.
