    I can't speak for others, but Toronto Ontario tickets just went on sale (gotta love Cineplex), so its way too early up here to even try and guess. US obviously has more data.

No doubt a lot more seats will come available, this is just Cineplex weird system lol. So cant take any info from seats this early.

    Looks like Ghostbusters has started advanced Sales at Cineplex. Maybe Wed Ill get some numbers up to see how that's going.

Don't know if critic reviews had an effect or not, but with Halloween weekend perhaps people busy, will see if it picks up between now and Thurs

My guess would be it being a new IP doesn't hurt it, seems like Torontonians like their Marvel films

    The Eternals Toronto Ontario Taken Oct 24 for Thursday Nov 4 11 Theatres 39 Shows Total Sold 1336 Total Available 8793 Total Amt of seats (Sold plus Available) 10229 Sold Percentage 14.04 Right now I am doing pretty much anything within a 20 Km area of shows, so it's smaller. I might get daring over the holidays and start doing bigger GTA and areas for films(Toronto, Scarborough, Vaughn ect). If I think my sanity could take it...hahahahah......

    Whatever numbers you can give helps out :). Curious what geographic area are you looking at? I myself do a number of Toronto Ontario theatres to contribute to the Canadian side of numbers Welcome!

    Dune Toronto Ontario take Oct 21 for FRIDAY Oct 22 11 Theatres 109 shows Total sold 3115 Total Available remaining 26009 (29214 sold + remaining) Percentage 10.7 percent Just wanted to clarify for future I will put remaining and Sold plus remaining just so no confusion over what "Available" is

    Ive observed with my Toronto numbers that the bigger screen capacities are selling pretty well, but anything that isn't a Imax (or Imax type big screen) the numbers for those screens there isn't a lot of movement. Now granted those are for Thursday showings, Ill do a friday count today just to see how those seats are doing by comparison.

    Dune Toronto Ontario Taken Oct 18 for Thurs Oct 21 11 Theatres 41 shows Total Sold 1943 Total Available 9681 percent 20.07 (note extra theatre has been added, also numbers will show increased seat available due to fact that Cineplex is now allowed full capacity, so seat restrictions have been removed, essentially seats got added) Torontonians seems to be responding, like Eternals, with gusto (for Toronto) due to lifting of covid restrictions and theatre capacity it seems

Yes its Marvel, and maybe this is the post covid theatres opening to full capacity, but thats pretty good I think for a new IP.

As has been suggested on this thread later showtimes showing more life than earlier due to nature of it all. I wonder how many people are waiting for Halloween weekend to actually go see it.

    Im about to do a Friday for Toronto. Going into the Thursdays from my view I wasn't seeing a huge rush for tickets. Ill get some Friday numbers and see what comes of them and what assumptions (if any) can be made
