There must be great number of $100,000 budget movies ,and their box office are like $500-10,000,that’s must be an insane failure but most people just don’t know its exists,even for movie fans

    No,lots of America film doing great number in USSR,like “The Magnificent Seven” attract 67 millions admission in Soviet market,top 10 biggest admission in Soviet cinema of all time,Makenna’s Gold attracted 63 millions admits,KingKong(1988) is one of biggest box office bomb in USA but attracted 53.6 millions admission in Soviet. If you consider VHS and DVD,James Bond is the household name in Soviet,and when Goldeneye(1995) first shown in Russia it took highest grossing film of that year.

    People here really underestimate US pop culture influence to China, a survey before shows 98.2% of Chinese university students at least have saw 1 America movie. Even for elderly US movie have have huge impact,especially like 80s Rambo and Superman. It’s not Hollywood problem,it’s just the Marvels failure.

    Marvel’s overall won’t even beat Endgame presale in Australia. Which means if something happened in 2019 Australia and cause Endgame finally not released there,EG number in AUS will still bigger than Marvels.

    It’s sad,since GTA probably the only game frachise popular every single country on Earth. Yes,every single country,include Eritriea and North Korea,solomon Islands and Kiribati Just a simple Google trends shows the franchise insanely popularity, if it’s make movie and have good quality it will easily make billion dollars
