  1. Can somebody who has the read the book explain to me what Snow thought was going to happen to his friend when he recorded that conversation? It was weird seeing him cry about it later.
  2. They're inherently super-convoluted characters. Especially when we consider how the MCU is handling them. The logical thing, in my opinion, would have been to bring them into the MCU in Multiverse of Madness but no. Instead, the road to bringing them into the MCU might look something like this: WandaVision -> Agatha -> VisionQuest -> The Children's Crusade (?). They basically need to turn White Vision into the real Vision again, they need to bring back Wanda and only then bring in the kids.
  3. ' Agree with everything here. MCU really has a much higher barrier to entry nowadays. Post-Endgame MCU has also become more like the comics in that you kind of need a viewing guide. Watching the movies and shows in release or even chronological order doesn't make much sense anymore. I think in the future we'll see guides like this: 1. Loki -> Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania 2. WandaVision -> 2.1 Ms. Marvel -> The Marvels 2.2 Spider-Man No Way Home -> Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness -> Agatha The Darkhold Diaries -> VisionQuest 3. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier -> Black Widow -> Hawkeye -> 3.1 She-Hulk -> Echo -> Daredevil Born Again 3.2 Captain America Brave New World -> Thunderbolts 4. Black Panther Wakanda Forever -> Secret Invasion -> Ironheart -> Armor Wars 5. Thor Love and Thunder -> Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special -> Guardians of the Galaxy 3 In order to have a somewhat coherent experience you need to follow groups of characters and their arcs instead of using release or chronological order. The fact that it has gotten this complicated is a real problem.
  4. They're even less known than Ms. marvel, Kate Bishop or Cassie Lang though. I'm honestly worried that Gen Z apparently didn't show up for The Marvels. Could mean that all these legacy characters aimed at Gen Z are DOA.
  5. Not necessarily. It's a very diplomatic answer from her and I think she's smart. She has surely seen the online abuse that actresses like Brie Larson or Rachel Zegler have gotten for the mildest comments so it's better to not even engage.
  6. Agree that at this point the previous FF movies are just a distant memory for most people. Personally, I think they should lean into the hard science fiction aspect of the comics.
  7. Emma Roberts and Adam Scott supposedly play young Aunt May and Uncle Ben in this.
  8. It might make less at the box office but it also costs a lot less so The Marvels will probably still be the bigger money loser.
  9. That's just your regular Hollywood ageism when it comes to female actors.
  10. If Reed and Sue already have kids in this then the age makes sense.
  11. Only a week ago I heard how this was supposedly going to be the highest-rated Hunger Games movie. Was this another The Flash-style psyops from the studio?
  12. Have no idea. It's like they're considering everyone except him for the role.
  13. Adam Driver would have been an odd choice as well. I would just like to see Krasinski in the role again.
  14. It really doesn't. In, fact, if they get rid of Kang now then Loki's sacrifice at the end of S2 is made completely pointless.
  15. They had done two rounds of reshoots already. At some point you just gotta release the thing.
  16. Catwoman and Elektra didn't kill off female superhero movies forever and this and Birds of Prey won't kill off female superhero team-up movies forever.
