Holy shit, this came out of nowhere since there were never proper talkings about a sequel.
It's almost ceirtinly hitting a billion. The first one grossed "only" 630M but it became a sensation with home media
I was the one who voted Strange World. I had to complete my list and started to think what movies I had actually watched. Now I hate myself for including Strange World but forgetting Enchanted
Working list:
1. Poor Things
2. Holdovers
3. Oppenheimer
4. Across The Spider Verse
5. Nimona
6. Air
7. John Wick 4
8. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning
9. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
10. Barbie
Some movies I want to see before the deadline:
- Killers of the Flower Moon (I actually watched it on theatres but it was one of my worst theatre experiences ever so I need to rewatch).
- Suzume
- Dream Scenario
- Anatomy of a Fall
- When Evil Lurks
- May December
- The Killer
I've read the rules some years ago and credits songs can be nominated as long as they are the first thing that sound after thelast frame of movie. Let's say a movie features 2 original songs during credits, Song 1 can be nominated, while Song 2 can't.

“Keep It Movin’” from “The Color Purple”
“Superpower (I)” from “The Color Purple”

“Road To Freedom” from “Rustin”
“Am I Dreaming” from “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”
Elemental, Spiderverse, Boy and the Heron seems all locked to get a nomination.
Fourth and Fifth spot probably going to TMNT and an indie/foreign movie.
1 and 2 are a great duology (with 2 being my favorite Western animated movie) and 3 wasn't as good but still a decent closure to the trilogy.
The trailer for 4 did nothing to me. Seems soulless and just a cashgrab.
