  1. 2027 - Ralph 3? 2028 - Encanto 2? 2029 - Tangled 2? 2030- Moana 3? 2031- Frozen 4?
  2. Holy shit, this came out of nowhere since there were never proper talkings about a sequel. It's almost ceirtinly hitting a billion. The first one grossed "only" 630M but it became a sensation with home media
  3. I'd suggest using John Wick 4 and Creed 3 as comps as well
  4. I've seen the leak and seems it's a 30 secs ad for Superbowl announcing the full trailer
  5. The delay caused by the Actors strike definitely benefited Poor Things. Legs wouldn't be as impressive if it was released on September.
  6. I was the one who voted Strange World. I had to complete my list and started to think what movies I had actually watched. Now I hate myself for including Strange World but forgetting Enchanted
  7. I think Incredibles will be in the top 10, while Inside Out won't
  8. I didn't watch all my pending movies, and also I forgot to include Enchanted on my list. Hoping somebody else included it
  9. Working list: 1. Poor Things 2. Holdovers 3. Oppenheimer 4. Across The Spider Verse 5. Nimona 6. Air 7. John Wick 4 8. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning 9. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 10. Barbie Some movies I want to see before the deadline: - Killers of the Flower Moon (I actually watched it on theatres but it was one of my worst theatre experiences ever so I need to rewatch). - Suzume - Dream Scenario - Anatomy of a Fall - When Evil Lurks - May December - The Killer
  10. Another year in which animated movies don't get nominations outside of "Best Animated Feauture". What a great way to treat the medium 🙄
  11. Oscar lineup will probably be: -Across the Spiderverse -Boy and the Heron -Elemental -TMNT -Robot Dreams
  12. I've read the rules some years ago and credits songs can be nominated as long as they are the first thing that sound after thelast frame of movie. Let's say a movie features 2 original songs during credits, Song 1 can be nominated, while Song 2 can't.
  13. MUSIC (ORIGINAL SONG) SHORTLIST “It Never Went Away” from “American Symphony” “Dear Alien (Who Art In Heaven)” from “Asteroid City” “Dance The Night” from “Barbie” “I’m Just Ken” from “Barbie” “What Was I Made For?” from “Barbie” “Keep It Movin’” from “The Color Purple” “Superpower (I)” from “The Color Purple” “The Fire Inside” from “Flamin’ Hot” “High Life” from “Flora and Son” “Meet in The Middle” from “Flora and Son” “Can’t Catch Me Now” from “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” “Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People)” from “Killers of the Flower Moon” “Quiet Eyes” from “Past Lives” “Road To Freedom” from “Rustin” “Am I Dreaming” from “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”
  14. Elemental, Spiderverse, Boy and the Heron seems all locked to get a nomination. Fourth and Fifth spot probably going to TMNT and an indie/foreign movie.
  15. 1 and 2 are a great duology (with 2 being my favorite Western animated movie) and 3 wasn't as good but still a decent closure to the trilogy. The trailer for 4 did nothing to me. Seems soulless and just a cashgrab.
