i'm definitely in wait for wom mode with this franchise -
yeah, nothing ive seen makes me think this will be a particularily good movie, it looks like secret lives of pets illumination, just with a nice paintjob, and with the rumored 85 min runtime, I doubt theres time for any surprised. People keep talking about how minions almost made a billion, but the trailers for that promised a seriously funny movie and it delivered

saw Legion (a reworked edition of exorcist 3, havent seen the original, dont plan to, im just here for Blatty ) today, some of the things that are described in this movie are pretty cool, but overall it felt a little aimless, theologically speaking as well, and because of that, even it didnt have the boring moments 9th configuration had, I didnt appreciate it as much bit dissapointed one of the actors did not return and it needed more father dryer where was the all time great jump scare?

I suppose thats what happens when the movies are bad, if the movie is bad you atleast want it to be relevant to the grander narrative and thus not a waste of time; make well received movies and no one will care about it being self contained or the opposite however its not difficult to imagine how going for too much interconnectedness could itself be detrimental to a movies quality, so its not that straightforward

the insane adjective might have been uncalled for, but I really dont like it when people start making up indulgent excuses for a movies quality; theres no real reason why the premise should have stopped this from being a good movie, not my fault they hired a rick and morty writer
