  1. While I have seen the whole series, I only saw one Potter film in the theaters and only saw it one time: DH1
  2. Oh geez, yeah how did I forget about that too. I love Let Me In. Ok that would be on my list as well
  3. I liked the idea behind it and thought it could be good, but yeah, it just didn't work for me I guess. As for the PA series, I want to like it. I like the idea behind it since i like suspense. Maybe one day I will give the others a chance, but the first one took me out of the movie too much so it took away almost all the tension for me.
  4. I like your list baumer, but I am not that high on the PA series. The first one didn't make me want to see the 2nd and so far I still haven't. Maybe that can change things for me. And while I wanted to like the Fourth Kind, I really didn't enjoy it.I would probably replace those with the 28 Days and Weeks movies. I could fiddle with the order, but overall, you have a very solid list
  5. I always loved this movie. It has everything from emotion to humor. It also has, to me, the best freak out scene ever with Steve Martin at the rental car counter :PA
  6. Pretty much everything from the special edition dvd set is on the blu ray, plus there are a couple new documentaries.
  7. Yay, finally it showed up!! The boat box and extra stuff is pretty cool. can't wait to see the blu ray now.
  8. Grr...I want my special Titanic edition to show up so badly now with all the compliments about the transfer
  9. Oh and I picked up the Target exclusive Snow White and the Huntsman blu ray as a gift for someone today
  10. Ok I was just curious since it said it was just an Amazon exclusive. I prefer to just go to the store and have it in my hand, so I wanted to know if that could be done. But glad the blu ray looks so great. I can't wait for mine to show up now
  11. Did you get the one with all the artifacts? I could only find that one online and I am waiting for it to show up in the mail
  12. This is a pretty good and enjoyable movie. I always like the animated series so it was cool to see a full length movie. B+
  13. Oh I can understand the crush thing ;)As for the meeting her and others, mostly, but not all the time, it is just at conventions and stuff like that. I get a lot of those things near me. The last time I met her I happened to have on a Shark Night 3D tshirt on. It was before the movie opened so we had a conversation about that. Basically she asked if I saw it yet and told me she read the script and warned me it would suck. I joked back saying "it's just a t-shirt", she and her handlers laughed. She was nice enough to let me get a picture with her too. She is pretty tiny
  14. I kind of know what you mean. I have met her on a few occasions. She has always been nice and funny whenever I have talked to her.
  15. Mostly from theaters. Sometimes online if I can't get it from anywhere else
  16. Surprisingly the best performance from this movie is Danielle Harris. Not surprising because it is her but because she doesn't speak for about 75% of the movie. Shows she is a good actress. overall, it is an ok movie. Michael chasing Jamie in the house was kind of cool and with the whole coffin scene. I really don't like the Druid storyline though and I hated that the movie ended the way it did. B-
  17. Yeah I don't hate it either, but it isn't something I need to see over and over again. I kind of like the ending though.
  18. Yes this movie is a mixed bag for me too. There are times I really like it, then other parts just make me wonder what the heck just happened. I do enjoy the ending as they finally closed the circle on the whole storyline and had Laurie finally get past her demons, figuratively and literally. B
  19. The only memorable thing about this movie is the commercials with that song. The rest was pretty much bad. C-/D+
  20. I don't count the 2 tv commercials in the background of Halloween III as a real Michael Myers appearance

  22. While I do like this, I can see both sides. I do like it as a sequel and continuation of the first film, and it does explain the sister angle and it kills off Michael Myers. Well kill him off for the 3rd movie at least Still scary enough and enjoyable to me B+/B
  23. Hmm...I really have to think about that, but it would definitely be close to the top action movie either way. I was glad to see this in IMAX on Friday. It was great to see it on the big screen again. But it just has everything from great action, to great scenery, to pretty much everything else. A+

  25. Pretty good movie. I like stop motion. It had the right blend of humor and creepiness. I liked the ending with Norman relating to the girl. Glad I saw it. B+
