Black Adam was also like the first big movie since what, Thor? While here audiences have a lot of other options. But I did hope it would have a stronger start from pre-sales. But I have no doubt it while have a good run even if it doesn´t get that monster opening I thought it would.

Honestly giving how crowded November is, I wouldn´t be surprised if The Marvels gets pushed to 2024 especially now with Blade and this one is most likely not releasing next year. But yeah Comic-Con will probably give a big update on the landscape.

Good. I can´t even fathom how bad a MCU movie that´s not allowed to do rewrites on set is. I love the franchise but we all know that they don´t have scripts ready to go and is probably the company that does most rewrites/reshoots. This was a disaster waiting to happen. Also I would assume that this helps the writers case even more when these major productions gets shut down.

Yes know you didn´t asked me but had to chime in there. as for the Flash I wouldn´t worry yet, things can improve and I´m expecting it improve enough to get over 100M with great reviews and WOM

This looks like another banger from Gerwig, and I do think this will do well but nowhere close to what some are hoping for. 140M dom and maybe 350M worldwide. But the movie itself looks awesome

Many of the Live-action movies have had strong WOM while also being just that, another pointless Disney remake. Not saying this will have good WOM but it being just another pointless Disney remake don´t effect the GA. They eat that shit up

But those movies had fantastic reviews...

Norway: The Little Mermaid sales looks depressing. Aladdin opened on a Wednesday and this is opening on Friday with Thursday previews but it looks pretty barren. Don´t think it´s getting close to that one here. That said I remember Aladdin tickets wasn´t close to be sold out when that came out in 2019. Thursday previews looks ok but Friday it´s not even selling out the one IMAX in the country. The second biggest theatre has sold barely any tickets. I don´t know if walkups can save it but it does have a big show allocations so I think they´re expecting a lot of them. Fast X are getting some IMAX showtimes over TLM which I´m surprised about. Across The Spider-Verse sales so far are good. Expecting a good last week. Transformers looks bad but it´s so far out that I´m not worried yet.

I don´t get it how it is that rough, wasn´t this movie pushed back like 7 months just because of VFX needing more time? I know there is a terrible amount of pressure and ridiculous workload for VFX artists so I´m not blaming them at all but this movie ended principal photography in October 2021. As to my knowledge this hasn´t had massive reshoots since then, just minor? I def thought that the VFX wouldn´t be this bad. Again stuff like that doesn´t bother me if the movie is good but it´s shocking how awful some it looks. Some of it looks like a fortnite loading screen.

I have faith in The Flash and 100M+, even tho I expected stronger sales first day.
