According to Sneider: Emma Stone was approached for the role of Sue, and for 72 hours it looked like it was hers. However she asked for 20M and Marvel said that was not something they could agree with. Emma Stone is a fantastic actress and I would have loved this choice. At the same time 20M is a lot especially since Disney are probably wanting the budget for this movies go down. If you´re paying 20M just for Sue, then the whole F4 cast will go in the 50-60M range. Considering how non-efficient Marvel can be with their budgets and reshoots it probably wasn´t feasible. For the first movie it makes sense why Marvel couldn´t agree to that. Bummed about it tho.

Okay now it´s time to worry, what a miscalculation sending this to Cannes.

I wouldn´t worry just yet, most of these negatives/mixed are from the people that usually are more lukewarm against blockbuster, Erlich, Collin, Bradshaw etc. but no doubt not as good as I hoped/expected.

Variety in general have been cementing their place as the worst trade the last couple of weeks, and that´s impressive because deadline exists.

Another fantastic number for Guardians. Now we will see how much losing those lucrative PFL´s will hurt it. Hoping it to hold better than the usual drop a movie takes when it loses those.

Yeah you´re not going to get the typical reaction you would for a superhero movie etc at Cannes. Few superhero bloggers there.

I expect sales to be huge tbh

Just came back from watching this. A MASSIVE improvement on F8 and F9. Actual some fun and not just mindless stupid shit. Momoa does a great job and gives the movie and franchise some needed life. But man you can notice that this movie lost it´s director because some of the scenes are rough. Overall I liked it, on par with 5-7 movies. Cliffhanger ending worked better when I saw the movie but it was still a weird ending.

Norway Fast X pre-sales are strong, thinking 70K could be doable. Don´t have tracked numbers sadly as celebrating Norway´s national day went on longer than planned 🤣 but it looks good and the "holiday" boost will help.
