  1. The reactions for X-Men 97 have been very positive. More than the usual you always get with these reactions. Which makes me wonder even more why the creator was fired if the product is seemingly great.
  2. When audiences and critics LOVE it, then you probably did something right
  3. Holyyy, that´s very impressive even if it got boosted by the superbowl. As said, Ryan and Hugh sells.
  4. I see no reason for this not to have a huge jump. I´m expecting Europe to being insane levels. Pencil me in for 550M-600M OS. Optimistic I know.
  5. Look at the views from just Ryan and Hugh social media accounts. Calling it Deadpool and Wolverine is a no brainer. Deadpool and Wolverine joining the MCU? That gains tractions. MCU really needs a W after the disaster run for The Marvels so generic title is def the way to go. They don´t have the juice anymore to go with something more fun. I really wonder where this will end up? The numbers on Insta are very strong, over 80M+ views across Marvel, Ryan, Hugh and the Deadpool account. 26M from Marvel and Ryans YT account combined. Facebook is strong and the likes and engagement on Elon´s hell hole with Ryan, Hugh and Discussingfilms account is destroying anything related to CBM since Wakanda Forever. Without a doubt this has a potential to be a huge event movie, not NWH levels or anything but people seem hyped for this. What are people thinking here? Can it go 700M+ or higher given the downturn the last years with the MCU but also the genre? The calender for it is favourable but the big question is if it´s a Guardians of The Galaxy Vol 3 quality level or Ant-Man 3 level. Because I do fear bad WOM on this will really be a killer for the franchise. This needs to deliver.

  7. Just got back from watching this. A massive disappointment for me. Loved the first one, one of my favorites in the genre. This was just horrible. Honestly hoped that all the bad behind the stuff about reshoots wasn´t that bad, but the movie is very bad. Horrible writing, scenes just stitched together, the humor is horrible. The potential the movie had was clearly there aswell. Honestly think this will be sub 30 on RT. But maybe I´m just letting the fan in me go overboard from the disappointment. I genuinely went out of the first Aquaman hyped like I was a kid again. Here I just wanted to go home instantly. Even Wan´s style of directing and his visual flair was lost in this. Will rewatch tomorrow as I already had two trips planned but this is like a 4/10 for me and I´m nice against CBM´s
  8. Norway Weekend 4-6 August Barbie: 53,632 admits (62,246 LW) / 414,522 total Oppenheimer: 43,400 admits (57,261 LW) / 310,604 total Meg 2: The Trench: 15,182 admits MI:DR Part 1: 9,164 admits (12,271 LW) / 238,022 total Elemental: 5,627 admits (5,321 LW) / 99,074 total TMNT: MM: 5,451 admits / 8,939 total (5-day debut)
  9. I think some of you guys are underestimating the reach a person like Zendaya has. Yes people don´t go to movies for stars anymore but Zendaya promoting the movie has an enormous reach. It reaches out to a crowd that may not been otherwise reached with the traditional marketing can´t. Dune is what people will going for but Zendaya helps the spotlight for Dune get out there. I think that´s the point with wanting Zendaya and Chalamet being available for promotion etc. So I wouldnt´be surprised if Dune moves if they don´t come to an agreement by October
  10. The interest in MCU is still there, especially for very popular characters like Loki. But if LOKI S2 isn´t good then that´s very worrying. Lots of people will watch this compared to a Secret Invasion. I would argue a tv show flopping isn´t nearly as big as the movies but for this show in particular I would argue that it is. Hope the show is as good as the trailer was but I will have low expectations to not be disappointed.
  11. Wouldn´t they still have IMAX on lock if they move? Seems like a movie IMAX will prioritize no matter what
  12. Norway Weekend 28-30 July Barbie: 67,246 admits (105,070 LW) / 284,742 total Oppenheimer: 57,261 admits (74,596 LW) / 212,251 total MI:DR Part 1: 12,271 admits (21,411 LW) / 216,234 total Elemental: 5,321 admits (7,297 LW) / 88,682 total Barbie and Oppenheimer continuing it´s fantastic run. Oppenheimer is losing IMAX showings to Gran Turismo but they are still getting one showing in it, alongside MI:7. Don´t know about Blue Beetle. Expecting Oppenheimer to get them back very soon. Barbie should get to 500K + now. Wonder if Oppenheimer can be Nolans biggest movie in terms of admits. Not impossible Nolan movies - Norway: Tenet: 188,422 admits Dunkirk: 226,422 admits Interstellar: 171,905 admits TDKR: 409,029 admits Inception: 361,687 admits TDK: 410,962 admits Batman Begins: 183,629 admits
  13. Norway Wednesday Barbie - 32K admits/ 194K total Oppenheimer - 22k admits/ 137k total
  14. I cannot express how disappointing this show was to me, it´s the worst D+ show by far for me. Phase 4 > Phase 5. I loved WandaVision, I enjoyed Falcon. Loved Loki, and Hawkeye was really good until the final. Adores Ms.Marvel but the same flaws happening again and again with the six episode format just becomes worse and worse with each show. If they make another 6 episode show after Iron Heart which is that last that we know of that will be that they really don´t give a f. Honestly for me they can just stop making these shows and just make movies. So beaten by this man.
  15. NORWAY: Absolutely bonkers performance from Barbie and Oppenheimer this weekend. All numbers below is admits. Barbie opening to 109K, 105k from Fri-Sund the remaining from previews. Movie is now at 162K after Monday and Tuesday. Weekdays are simply fantastic. Will wait to see where it´s at after next weekend but really wondering if this can go as big as 500K. Oppenheimer opened to 74,5K and is now at 115K. IMAX showings are selling out for the next two weeks. It has IMAX until Gran Turismo on 11th of August but I suspect that it will lose those quickly for Oppenheimer and Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle will prob lose them very quick aswell. Just insane. Could be Nolans biggest movie since 2012. Will give a more in depth update later but MI:7 is struggling. It´s selling out screenings nicely but it just don´t have many screens here. Just under 200k admits now. On Friday, cinemas had 84k admits. That´s the highest number for a single day in July since 2011. Bonkers.
  16. I should have specified but I´m talking about admits, not gross.
  17. Norway Barbie - 49K,9 OD. 45K pure Friday. Oppenheimer - 25K OD MI:7 - 6,4K second Friday. Headed for a big drop. Loss of screens and hype from Barbenheimer is killing it. 250-300K I guess is the final for this.
  18. Barbie is already at 11,2k admits reported for today, combined with 4,5k admits from previews on Wednesday we are looking at a massive OD. Wonder if 100K+ is OW is possible. Barbie and Oppenheimer is both selling out every screenings. Capacity is def a hindrance
