How is it that Taylor Swift is so popular that she can solo carry a concert film to a quarter of a billion dollars and have her be a national highlight of every NFL game she intends?
Probably my favorite film in theaters at the moment. Unfortunately, not many people are checking it out because it's a designated streaming movie. My sides hurt from laughing too hard.
A major part of it was not only was the story meandering at best and painfully low brow at worst. But, it also had the added effect of not being cinematic. In many respects, it had the feel of a Star Trek episode. Made for Television is how I would describe it.
Has anyone here had the chance to actually sit down and watched the movie from beginning to end. Unless I'm mistaken, It would appear as though that most of the people ranting about the movie have not. As someone who has, I can confirm the movie itself, regardless of genre and actor/studio name prestige, is quite mediocre to point where I would recommend against viewing it unless you are an Alpha-Omega-Beta-Gamma-Delta SuperHero Fan.
Yea, Majors was looking extra lean and huge. People on Twitter like to shame women for doing plastic surgery, but Lot of men, in Hollywood, particularly action stars juice up, with some sort of steroids, for certain roles. Most obvious being the Rock and Hemsworth. Jason Statham has to be the one of the only natural one.
Majors ruined his career to look like the bigger balloon animal compared to Michael B Jordan
Unrelated, but name a better duo than Hollywood and setting unrealistic standards for men and woman alike.
This was a decent light hearted romcom. All be it a bit too on the nose at points, but the couple are both extremely attractive to make up for it. The setting, in Australia(?) with the beach house and the ocean view, was to die for. I'd could've given it a Low Full Price, if the Sweeney put in a better performance and if the script was more of ummp in their step.
My Score: High Matinee
The musical numbers and production value were top notch and best of the best. Certainly better than the likes of Wonka, but something about how the story progressed felt janky and rigid. There were also a lot of controversial elements in that film that I assume dissuaded audience members from making this a breakout hits.
