    I didn't mind that as much, because it's been hinted at for years. What bothered me was the actual look of the movie. I thought they would up the budget for a movie like this one, but they didn't.

    The Killing Joke is as iconic a graphic novel as they come, I don't think the same strategy would work for some lesser known titles. Too bad the movie isn't any better, though. I buy all of the DCAU films on Blu, but this one was a letdown. They are increasingly cutting the budgets on these properties, and even The Killing Joke is a victim. It doesn't look nearly as good as 2010's Under the Red Hood.

    A lot of people think a combination of new princess and Hamilton songwriter will make it break out.

    It's a cult classic and one of my favorite shows ever tbh!!! It's only playing in one theater in my state, and it's three hours away. I'll be going to see it next weekend.

    Thought this might be a remake of the 1997 gay film, Edge of Seventeen. I'll watch that one on Blu-Ray instead.

    If what you hated about the theatrical version was the pacing, story elements and editing, then yes. The ultimate edition fleshes all of that out. If you hated the characters, their motivations and special effects, then no.
