    I am not saying the new reboot are fantastic but seriously, the best Spidey grossed $890M WW. This will end up around $700M WW, nearly 80% of the highest WW grosser. It's still making considerable amount of money. Sony is lucky. They are losing franchises fast. They only have Bond franchise to rely on and that they have to split with MGM & the Broccolis. Will Smith is losing box office luster and Sandler is not huge overseas. Sony is in trouble when GA gets sick of Spider-Man just like Electro....

    The 5th movie in the series, arguably the weakest in terms of storytelling but still making $700M WW? I say Sony is extremely lucky with this franchise.

    Those truncated, anti-climactic scenes (airport scene, first MUTO fight, Vegas rampage) feel strange, out-of-place and feel like they run out of footage or lost it somewhere in the editing room. There must be an extended edition of some sort on BluRay

    Biggest international opening, sure, OK, but Spidey 2 still holds the record for the largest international weekend $200M+ I was expecting $250M. Some markets are underwhelming. Legs won't be good for this one.
