  1. $250M DOM $350M OS $600M WW slightly below THOR 2 level This however could surprise everybody. Trailers are strong.
  2. NFS is not bad ass snuff for gamers to see in theaters. They want " bad ass" ness
  3. 302 looks to end up with $110M-$115M. With $68M in the bank, NON-STOP could squeak past $100M. DIVERGENT, NOAH & the CAPTAIN will stir up the box office in the next 3 weeks and it will be interesting to see the rumble.
  4. "I should not have ratted on Walt.." "I should not have ratted on Walt.." "I should not have ratted on Walt.." "I should not have ratted on Walt.." "I should not have ratted on Walt.." "I should not have ratted on Walt.." "I should not have ratted on Walt.."
  5. I am glad ROBO does well in China. That figure vis-a-vis domestic take shows that Hollywood cannot ignore the Chinese market at all.
  6. I like the new ROBOCOP. The Verhoeven version is still a classic. A bizarre mixture (in a good way) of techno-thriller, western, social satire & dystopian scifi. This scene alone is what makes the movie so multi-dimensional: But I like what a new director would do with the character.
  7. Don't worry, Tony. FROZEN will add at most $10M at the end of its run (for a $403M final tally). MUPPETS & RIO 2 will take out most of its audience in the coming weeks.
  8. I thought 302 would be doing $25M-$28M and finish around $70M+ DOM Pleasantly surprised.
  9. Well, I'm trying to say:"Who cares about the unusual Sunday drop, the movie is doing alright."
  10. FROZEN @ $393M DOM The Snow Queen run is insane. Never thought it could do more than $250M back in 2013
  11. Plus $40m DOM, the movie will open to more than $100m WW. Not bad for a sequel nobody wants
  12. And everybody thought this one is going to stink big time. All in all, if domestic numbers fail to excite, the WW numbers will be uplifted by foreign markets. Warner's decision to move 300/2 out of the super-crowded Summer 2013 really paid off
