November is just as good, it's fine. HP, TWILIGHT, a good number of Bond movies all franchise fan-based movies that open huge in November and earn $300M or thereabout. -
The last movie I remembered that opened more than $80M but earns less than $200M is.....WOLVERINE ORIGINS, back in 09. Heart-ache...

A little too similar to THE HOST And that one didn't do too well... Advertising makes the movie look like HUNGER GAMES-lite/clone Not a very good move....

This is not a must-see 3D/IMAX film like AVATAR or GRAVITY. I don't think it will do $65M in China. $40M+ is more like it.

I feel kinda sad for these 80s icons. H'wood has never been kind to has-beens. But these guys actually keep getting roles, albeit in B-list productions. Arnie's best are T1/T2 & PREDATOR. And COMMANDO is a great B-movie with cheesy credit sequence, silly but fun action and a great sense of humor. I would watch it anytime it is on cable...

I didn't catch WOLVERINE in theaters. How did it compare to WOLVERINE ORIGIN or FIRST CLASS? FIRST CLASS has some great moments in it but overall the movie has a nice retro styling, and I like it a lot.
