  1. As someone who's enjoyed them to varying degrees, Justice League got by far the best reaction in the theater of the 3 Snyder films. People actually seemed to be enjoying themselves and laughing at some of the jokes. Some things might be messy, but the 'characters' and their interaction seemed to shine to the audience. Most people at showings of BvS were damn near depressed and bored by the end and with Man of Steel, well lets not get into that. Still an awful # though.
  2. God damn, that would be hideous, but would send a loud message to WB.
  3. They should debut him in that film, then you can push him to Shazam 2 (if that movie is a hit) or hell even a Superman sequel if you want Rock vs. Superman. Either way, skip this Black Adam movie shit. I can't believe they're getting people in place to write for that movie.
  4. https://www.thewrap.com/suicide-squad-2-the-rock-black-adam-exclusive/ Grain of salt at this point, mentions Oct 2018 start date.
  5. Thor 2 did 85, I never believed 90 million was where it would open given the fresh look of the film, plus the addition of Hulk. Felt like Wonder Woman opening was the floor and in actuality I think Thor 3 pretty much maxed out for opening. 121-122 million is phenomenal. Should pass 300 million, likely closer to 315, unless it absolutely tumbles with Justice League in 2 weeks.
  6. Of course, the MCU was very new at that point and hadn't bullet pointed their plans for 6 years at a investors call in 2014.
  7. It really is incredible how they might have a dozen potential films in some form of development ... and in reality have nothing but Shazam ready for certain in 2019. How do people keep their jobs being that inept at streamlining the most popular films the company produces.
  8. The fact they may try to not release something in June 2019 (and the fact that was initially supposed to be Justice League 2) is actually pathetic. Seriously, as a fan of DC, this whole release schedule process has annoyed me something fierce, just feels like no long term momentum ever comes (and waiting 13 months after JL for Aquaman isn't going to help things)
  9. They'll be fine when they release them ... they just have to get to the point where ... you know, they're actually producing them and not just placing logos and titles on a screen at comic con telling us what they want to do. I mean, WB is actually trying to sell us that Green Lantern Corp is somewhere even remotely close to being a reality, but they according to the 'trades', still can't seem to figure out who Batman is going to be after this year. Hopefully things run smooth with Wonder Woman 2.
  10. Regardless, WB/DC has some decisions to make. They've staked out these dates but only Wonder Woman 'officially' had a date and now it's musical chairs on what is going where. The thought seemed to be having 3 films in 2019 and if we're possibly in the whole 'move it back to 2020' routine, they're never going to get to the point of releasing the films they seem to want to put out. It's ridiculous though that we have barren months (after having been proven time and time again that if the film looks good, people will show up) that studios keep avoiding, while bunching everything up next to each other so they have to move back to another busy time.
  11. So in other words, we're to believe Blade Runner & Kingsman are more anticipated than It, which is going to crush both. Look Thor 3 is going to do awesome, but it's just the next MCU movie in the conveyor belt, it's not opening to 150+ million.
  12. If this doesn't start filming until later in 2018, I would be shocked if another film isn't set to film in summer 2018 for the summer 2019 release. They have too many potential films in various stages of development to only have Shazam (New Line) & Wonder Woman 2 in 2019.
  13. WB at this point wants 'solid competent films' to build their brand. 'Style' hasn't really worked that well for them in the last few years.
  14. Well, gonna assume a lot of those theaters are going to be dropping Wonder Woman again on Friday, so probably the last hurrah. I know it's 3.7 million from a 4x, but with the Blu Ray release in 2 weeks, and having passed the two Marvel films, I doubt WB cares if it does the extra few million that would be necessary. Gonna guess 411.5-412 is where it finishes.
  15. Great for Wonder Woman to pass two hugely successful Marvel films. From BOM Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $408,939,021 50.3% + Foreign: $403,700,000 49.7% = Worldwide: $812,639,021 Should finish around 820 million. Calm before the storm on Thursday night. Can't wait to see what It can do this weekend. Hoping for 80+
  16. Even doing as little as 1.5 million this weekend would secure it passing Iron Man 3 given that it will pretty much be even over the 4 day next weekend. What a horrible weekend though.
  17. 409,013,994 is a goal for it to get past Iron Man 3 to #5 all time for comic book films behind the two Avengers & two Dark Knights. ... even though that # might only hold up until Justice League ... or for sure until Infinity War next May.
