Yes. Boxing Day is DEC 26 but no I wouldn't describe it as a festival. It is, however, a nationwide public holiday. Both Monday and Tuesday are public holidays with virtually nothing open and everyone off work. On Boxing Day people go to the movies in large numbers, they watch the Boxing Day Test(cricket, against India this year), the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race or they just go to the beach.Movies normally open on a Thursday in Australia. Yes. Breaking Bad is just plain epic. I got the first 3 seasons on DVD a few months ago and just watched them all back to back. Now season 4 was just even better. You new what was coming in the last episode but the way they handled it just blew me away.

I have to say I've seen a lot of advertising for MI4. There hasn't been an action movie for a while so this could bring out a crowd. There are advance screenings tonight and SH2 doesn't open until 5 JAN 2012.
