  1. Only The Hobbit 2 have a chance at challenging IM3 OS total of ~805M now. The Croods OS pull is really impressive, it should remain in Top 10 still by year end.
  2. Option 5: None will make it. [*]The Conjuring: 95.2M [*]Turbo: 94.5M [*]Red 2: 71.8M [*]RIPD: 43.6M
  3. Go see them. I haven't watched WHD so I don't know how it is; but I enjoyed both FF6 and PR a lot. I hope you will too The actions in both movies are great: over-the-top but crazily fun in FF6; well-crafted and intense, but also fun in PR.
  4. I hope for the same in China too. China is such a big market, imagine how even bigger Pixar movies could have been if Chinese audience give them a chance. I don't like your country, Olive
  5. Olive, are you planning on watching all 3 Hollywood releases in the next 2 week?
  6. I took a chance with The Heat and had it down with a 200M+ total in BSG. I will lost points for the gross for sure, but it's okay, I'm really glad it's doing well
  7. MU: +27% best jump in Top 10 It's doing great on weekdays, if only the weekends can be as good
  8. In your opinion, who gave the best voice performance? I'm very curious about Snoop Dogg I wasn't interested in watching Turbo at all, but I found out just now that SamJack is in it (talk about total obliviousness ) I might just check it out next week.
  9. +23% for The Heat. Awesome
  10. Man, I can already see how all the upcoming daily threads and weekend threads will consist of All that I will say about PR is that I really enjoyed the movie, and I will keep on rooting for it to do good business BO-wise. Hopefully, it will survive the onslaught this weekend. Onto Tuesday numbers (so far) That's a big jump for DM2. If MU can do the same, it'll be great, hoping that the good Monday drop doesn't lead to muted Tuesday bump Great increase for MOS too. On track to be around 286-287 mil by the end of weekend.
  11. Thanks. That's good for it.Mr.Go opens today, right? I guess MOS is pretty much done now.
  12. Is Mr. Go a SK/Chinese co-production or it's all SK? I noticed that the main setting is in SK, but lead actress is Chinese. The trailer looks...interestingly absurd to me, for lack of a better description :lol:It will do good in China? Wow. From what I've noticed, Chinese audience seem to love movies that have talking, animated, or humanized animals in them.
  13. Will TITE make it pass 100M? There are just so many new releases coming up, I don't like the prospect of its future TC loss at all. I hope it'll get to that milestone.
  14. Five Guys is good. But I have learned my lesson of not putting every vegetables and sides they have on after that first time :lol:The size of their fries is also ridiculous.
  15. No friends no more? Me not likey
  16. I do know their secret menus and have tried them all. I like their animal fries. The burgers are just okay, I had better.
  17. I think The Conjuring is the favorite for No.1. Turbo has previews tonight, and open tomorrow. That will saturate its weekend IMO.
  18. No one cares about Monday numbers? Good for MU, 50% drop, best in Top 5. It's so weird that MU is doing pretty well on weekdays but not on weekends.
  19. This is true. The early marketing really sucks. None of my friends or family members (who are GA) know its coming out. To be honest, I know about the movie cause I follow our forum, otherwise, I would not know till very late cause I don't remember my theater showing any PR teasers/trailers until its near release.
  20. B, isn't the one making the big move with 45k for weekly questions Icedeep?
  21. And pretty much became instant classic.
  22. After many rewatchings, Ratatouille is only behind The Incredibles in my Top Pixar list. It's on par with Toy Story 3.I'd love it if Pixar does more movies with talking animals ala Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. I guess The Good Dinosaur will be it, very much looking forward to that one.And for the sake of ongoing discussion, for me, Ratatouille is definitely better than HTTYD. I would rate them:HTTYD: 9/10Ratatouille: 9.5/10
  23. Yeah, it obviously doesn't have the wide appeal that many thought and hoped for.
