Tons of fanboys are out on the street hunting for Shane Black simply, and only cause of the twist. Majority of GA, from what I can tell, like it, or okay with it. Agree about the airplane scene, I think it's beautiful. As for the humor, I think there are many here who don't like Black's style of humor. I personally love it as I do his other movies. There are also criticisms about some plot lines that I can certainly understand. Overall, I'm like you mostly, enjoy the humor, the action, love the acting performances (from RDJ the most obviously )

Thanks Rth So MU can increase from estimate by 1-2 mil. WWZ may drop, but only by a tiny amount, 65-66 mil, no biggie, still a massive success. MOS numbers look to be about the same with estimate (12.2m)

I think SM3 was successful base on expanded markets at the time, but also because of the goodwill build by both Spider Man 1 & 2. Both movies' qualities are regarded highly, people love them. Spider Man 3 benefited from that, but the reception towards the movie, I would say, was not favorable at all, both domestic and overseas.

He's the closest with a 63.21% drop. No others had it bigger than that. Edit: Sorry Tele if I got you excited there But I was right 2/3. I just looked over Week 8 briefly, and damn, Tele was killing it. He got both bonus 2 and 3 (MOS+TITE total, MOS weekend drop) as well as being the only one who got points for this week's individuals. I think 41% drop for MOS is too generous. IM3 dropped about 50% in its 3rd weekend, and that movie is in May, the month with far stronger weekend than weekdays.

7.1M for a movie like WWZ sounds pretty awesome to me.
