The more impressive is most of the prediction/projection reports came super early, like when no showing even started on the West Coast yet. Indeed lol. Only -8% from Tue and a big 21% increase from last Wed. Infinity War is clearly having an impact. Folks are most likely trying to get a last viewing in to prepare for the weekend. Theater counts for holdovers are not out yet, but if it can manage a good retention, I can see another decent weekend drop, even with IW onslaught

He has a dead set total of 460M or something for it to be under JW2. So if say OW is 250M, you can be damn sure that this IW business is going sub-BvS multi. Simple math really.

The numbers so far in Asian territories are astounding. Few of them don’t just break former records, but completely destroyed them. Latin America will pull in record-breaking numbers as well for sure. Remain to be seen is how European countries (which are, except UK, the weakest areas for MCU movies) will turn out. But early numbers from Italy and France are encouraging. Getting ahead of myself (obviously) but I think OS opening could approach closer to 290M range than the predicted $260M. If so, WW opening #2-3 might not be too far fetched (all up to domestic to deliver)
