    Disappointed that y’all gave @Trolltastic Tele his mod power back for the weekend. I was looking forward to him fully embracing his closeted (not so subtle) inner DC fanboy, and just go ham on a MCU movie OW, now that he’s no longer shackled with the mod title. Maybe possibly flirting with the ban status too. But nope, he’s just gonna play it safe now. That’s no fun.

    The Mummy came out last June and had the record for couple months before local movie Battleship Island release in August and broke it.

    Can only find Top 15 OD in gross. The order is most likely different with admissions because ticket prices in HK is changing and (mostly) rising each year. For example, in terms of gross, The Avengers OD was all the way down at #10; but base on Olive’s OD figures from above, TA had ~67k admissions while CA3 OD was only ~51k. And yet, in dollars/HK dollars, Civil War is at #3 Infinity War looked to go completely above current record in both admissions and dollars though.

    Civil War OD Wed admissions was ~51k, and IW just did 1.7x that figure. You need to start focusing on the positive stuff lol

    Great increase from Ultron. That’s a bigger jump than TA -> Ultron. Like 3x bigger.

    Thank you! That’s real neat. Mismatched release days between Kong and IW aside, OW record is toast then. IW is already 1/3 of the way there. Still absolutely bonker movie going business has boomed that much in Vietnam. A few years back when I was there, I went to check out how movie theaters in VN is like. I enjoyed it. I really appreciated that they offer almost all subtitled version for Hollywood movies instead of dubbing.

    Wow, totally forgot about Kong. I thought it would be one of the Fast movies but makes sense with Kong having filmed in VN. And holy shit, Infinity War OD is already close to Ultron entire OW, lmao. Thanks for all the info and update Olive, you’re the best 😘

    Really love BO reporting that come with admissions figures. ~1M admissions is like almost 2% of South Korea population show up for OD. Just some random thoughts lol.
