    Well, I hope you’re right. I think it got hit harder in Latin America, but maybe Asia and Europe could balance out the drops. Thor should be very comfortably passing Cap 2 WW total by Sunday. $730M-$740M is the range IMO.

    In all seriousness though, I think with a much lower start than expected, we might in turn see a MJ1/MJ2 scenarios where legs are unexpectedly better.

    I remember I was worried for Thor when it got moved from July to the November date with JL 2 weeks after, but I was also kinda relieved it’s not Black Panther first solo outing that could potentially face JL instead. But then @aabattery showed me the light with his Ragnarok > 300M Dom club. BP performance sight unseen, the release date move turned out pretty good in the end for Marvel.

    Seems like a pretty good increase. If it follow FB drops/increase closely, we’ll be looking at 1.15-1.2M admission for 5-day OW.

    I’m hoping for 30M weekend (around 60% drop). Anything over that is gravy. Weird we didn’t have a worldwide total update on Wed/Thu for this week. Disney is slacking off lol.

    BO numbers of a Justice League movie is compared to that of a Thor movie (with questions of whether the former can surpass the latter). But there’s no real winner in the race. Sure.

    Not sure if we see much gains in Asia overall really. SK, HK already show weaker opening than BvS. China too, even a good case scenario, say passing $100M, is not really much of a step up from BvS.

    First showings haven’t even finished showing on the West Coast yet and they’re throwing out these numbers lol What was Thor’s initial preview estimate? Actual for Thor went up a good amount. I’m sure JL will be the same. SH movies are usually strong on the WC

    Didn’t BvS make like $95 total in China. $100 is a milestone, sure, but how is that much of an improvement over BvS?

    Should comfortably going over IM2 to get into Top 10 SH in SK. The rebooted X-men series was pretty successful in Korea, but highly doubtful New Mutants can be the same with a different cast. So the one that will knock out Ragnarok from Top 10 will be Infinity War. Fitting.
