ecstasy
I'm about to have a meltdown myself. Why does America reward mediocrity?! Some people liked it? Not a crime.
Dementeleus
Ah the Haves and the Have Nots. Marvel used to be the kid picked on in school though. Turnabout is fair play. When? Haven't Marvel movies (the ones that actually got made) been successful from the very beginning?
MrPink
Marvel is the box office bully picking on the other films. Disney/ Marvel is 1% and every else is the 99%. Don't worry, you think this can last? There's a storm coming. And when it hits, Marvel better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, they're gonna wonder how they could live so large and leave so little for the rest of the studios!* *I tried. GiantCALBears
I'm about to have a meltdown myself. Why does America reward mediocrity?!. Because most people are stupid and/or just want a break from reality in a popcorn summer blockbuster. We are all about event culture now, plenty will see IM3 and think its meh or not very good but will see cause their friends/families are
ecstasy
When? Haven't Marvel movies (the ones that actually got made) been successful from the very beginning? I mean characters. Thor, Iron Man, Captain America where not the cool kids. They couldn't sit at the table with Batman and Superman. Spiderman could though.

GiantCALBears
Um, yeah, right.. So if someone can't stand IM3, there gonna be pushed into peer pressure by having to pay good $$$ again to see it cause of their friends or families??? Just admit the movie rocked for a 3rd solo movie when most movies crap out..I do believe this, WOM isn't as good as you think.

Spiderman is wildly popular. XMen too but Xmen is a different animal. Xmen kind of had their own clique.

Kvikk Lunsj
I'm about to have a meltdown myself. Why does America reward mediocrity?! GA liked Pirates, Blind Side, Transformers, Avatar, and countless other shit. People today like movies they can text in still watch the movie. This is true of all blockbusters. You can half pay attention to them and still enjoy them.
ecstasy
I was talking about the movies not the characters. Well then that's true. Disney owns everything. But WB has been very successful with the Potter series and the Batman trilogy.
