Alpha
The tiebreaker thread, where ties for category spots are decided. Only categories needing tiebreakers will be posted in this thread. For each category, in a post rank all the choices from first choice to last choice In the event of a tie in the tiebreakers, the tie will be broken in favor of the film with the most #1 votes. If there is a tie in #1 votes I move down to the next tier and so on until the tie is broken. If the tie is not broken by this means then all tied films move into the category. Alpha
HOLY FUCK. GARRET HEDLUND WAS COMPLETELY ROBBED. I could name many more snubs, like... - Three-Month Funeral not getting Best Picture - Freddy Zapper not getting Best Costume Design (because it really deserved it) - The fact Rise and Fall of Julius Caesar needs a tiebreaker to get Best Visual Effects. Really, guys?
riczhang
HOLY FUCK. GARRET HEDLUND WAS COMPLETELY ROBBED. I agree. I thought he was my best character yet. (And I was kinda hoping to make Actor a hat-trick ) A bit of a disappointing showing for Risk Management. Narnia did really, really, really well though. There's a lot of shockers this year though, like last year, but last year it was all good for me, not so much this year.

Alpha
You sir need to go see On the Road. Best performance since Isabelle Huppert in La Pianste. He is phenomenal. I didn't see On the Road, but I saw the 2 and a half minute preview, and all he really does is employ a New York-style accent. Not much else. Everyone has their own opinion. Everyone has their own opinion. You should go see the entire thing when you have the chance, the trailer doesn't do him justice. It is literally electrifying. He's probably my favourite under 40 actor atm.
Alpha
I will say Garrett Hedlund not getting a chance at Best Actor is still a snub, but he isn't appearing on my list until he makes a good performance in a mainstream film. His acting in Tron: Legacy was terrible.
