Agreed. and also a very tough movie, as it is the story of an American trying to get smuggle drugs through Turkey I think? and he gets caught and is sent to a old prison with mean sadistic prison guards.

This movie shitted all over Turkey, so no. Nice Moroder score though.

Not a fan overall, but it was definitely worth watching for John Hurt's performance and, yes, Moroder's score alone.

This is supposed to be a joke, a two-hour running joke, right? otherwise this is a big failure of a movie, Brad Davis is especially horrible and two particular scenes almost made me turn off the movie, the court speech must be of the awfulest scenes I've seen in a serious movie. It's comically bad.

 

John Hurt gives the only good performance, he shined in his last scene. The last shot is quite decent as well. 15/100

 

It's funny how I appreciate Shawshank Redemption so much more after watching this.
