James
1.08 is looking doable. Also 12M away from TDKR. It'll be close.

Gokai Red
Is there enough gas in the tank to beat TDKR's 1.0844 billion?
Quigley
Is there enough gas in the tank to beat TDKR's 1.0844 billion? Venezuela is the main market where TF4 is making money. Films are pretty leggy there so yeah, TDKR is leaving the Top 10.
bartonfink
Transformers' overseas & global total boxoffice numbers haven't been updated since last week. Why?
Quigley
BOM has TF4's ONA total at $835.5 as of Sep 14. It has made $2.1M in Venezuela since then: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=intl&country=VE&id=transformers4.htm so ONA total should be $837.6M. Add in $245.4M from NA and you have $1083M. It's still earning a few hundred thousand dollars in Venezuela per week and some more crumbs in NA. Ultimately, it should surpass the $1084.4M total of TDKR: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/ thus reaching 10th place all time worldwide (but not for long since Hobbit 3 will probably earn more than that). Quigley
TF4 has now made $245.4M stateside and $841.9M elsewhere for a wolrdwide total of $1,087.3M http://www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/chart/?view2=worldwide&yr=2014&p=.htm It is the tenth highest-grossing film on the all-time worldwide chart, i.e. Batman is no more. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/ The Transformers franchise is currently the only one that has two instalments in the Top 10. (Needless to say though that many other franchises had achieved this in the past, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean being two of them). Arguably, the MCU has two films as well (Avengers and Iron Man 3) but lets wait until Avengers 2 comes out to announce that officially. Quigley
TF4 also ranks 6th on the overseas all-time chart. Fun fact: there are more films in the $800Ms than in the $700Ms. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/?pagenum=1&sort=osgross&order=DESC&p=.htm
