And I haven't seen Phillips yet  I just never got around to it....... I was going to in theatres but then yeah..... I got sick that weekend and couldn't go. And I have the screener of it and i was gonna watch it, but I still haven't yet, so yeah.....

And also how are we defining 2013? Cus I saw The Hunt in 2012 and it premiered in 2012, but it was officially released theatrically in 2013. It'd be ~10 on my list, but I took it off cus I defined it as 2012.

I have a rule for that: is the year of the first time the movie was available to the public in the world (on theaters, VOD, BR, DVD) without counting festivals. For example, Suck In Love, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on September 2012, but was released to general audiences May 2nd 2013 in Israel, so to me is a 2013 film.Another example would be Maniac, the one with Elijah Wood. The movie opened December 27th on Germany, so to me this movie is from 2012.

Standard BOF rule is to go by US domestic release.

Otherwise we'd have a bunch of people voting for Django or Les Mis or some other Winter 2012 film.

The Hunt is a 2013 film because it was released in the US July 2013. If you go by its home country release (Denmark), it's still a 2013 film since it opened there January 2013.
