AH may still Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress, and Philomena winning Screenplay. Damn.Yeah. Philomena winning screenplay is probably the biggest shock of the night tied with Rush. 12YAS was huge in the UK. Not surprised that AH won screenplay. Without Her there was no serious challenge. Straightforward doesn't mean it is not pretentious. I haven't stated it was a bad film, just that it was overhyped (Same as Hustle) and at its core pretentious, stuff the social message down your throat kind of film.
