An ordinary opening for MIB3, but it's pretty good and should get a decent multiplier, hopefully finishing above $20m. Great holds for Avengers and Marigold Hotel. THG crawling infuriatingly slowly to $31m. And TWIB is a bomb here, dropping over 50%, such a shame.

Meh for MIB, saw it coming, very little interest and from what I heard the film doesn't do enough for a recommendation from my friends. I think it closes below 15m

It's R in the US so MA was a given. I'm going to go out on a limb and say there has never been a film rated R n the US that was rated M in Australia. Just saw an add for Get The Gringo.

That means an average ticket price of about $16.80. I wonder if that'll pull the yearly average well past $13. Hopefully not, but last year's was substantially higher than 2010's for reasons I can't quite work out.
