rockNrollaDIM
Yup. Very boring. And this website is fucking stupid, they don't even list the episodes which writing/directing etc are nominated for. Nice for Headey, is that her first? Other pluses: Diana Rigg for GOT Margo Martindale for The Americans William H Macy for Shameless!!! Joan Cusack for Shameless But all the other Shameless snubs.... The47th
My inner trekkie is so happy to see Kate Mulgrew nominated for best supporting actress. I see her with real chances to win, actually.
ddddeeee
Lena Heady's nomination made my day, even if it should have been for Season 2 instead but whatever.
grim22
One of the biggest omissions has to be Tatiana Maslany.

grim22
Glad that OITNB got so many nominations. It realistically should win the Guest Actress one, and maybe supporting actress. One writing award may go to OITNB as well. But it will likely lose everything else.
CoolioD1
One of the biggest omissions has to be Tatiana Maslany. it's the best performance on tv for me, but I'm not surprised.

The47th
'Orange' scored big with the cast. Guest actress is a given, and supporting actress should not be too hard to get either. I'm really happy for Joanne Froggatt. Yes, it's obvious the Academy loves Downton Abbey (who wouldn't, really) but it's hard to get a share of the spotlight when the attention always goes to the same people, i.e. Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery and Jim Carter. It's a shame The Americans can't hit big at these awards. They really should have made Margo Martindale a regular member of the cast when they had their chance. CoolioD1
I just want someone to beat Maggie Smith. anna gunn. she won last year, I think she's close to locked to win again I can't believe maggie smith beat christina hendricks for mad men season 5 when she had an absolutely incredible episode. voters must've felt so bad about that one that they nominated hendricks for season 6 and season 7A despite that she doesn't really do anything in either of them. grim22
Headey yes.No Pascal though. Dean Norris denied. That is pretty shocking actually. Looking back at the final season, there is nothing from Jesse Pinkman that stands out, he hardly appeared in most of the episodes. Hank Schrader deserved the nomination Pinkman got. Magic
No nomination for Tatiana Maslany is fucking absurd. What does she have to do to be nominated? Glad for Headey. Game of Thrones leads with 19 nominations, but the fact that Breaking Bad was nominated twice for writing is the clue I think. Looks like Breaking Bad will win Best Drama again. The final season was so on point and each episode outdid the previous one. It was an amazing and ridiculous stretch of quality - no other show came close last year. The current GOT season (the one which ended 3 weeks ago) is probably the closest one to that stretch of quality. Unfortunately, the GOT season nominated is from last year.

Really hope D&D get Season 5 right since that is going to be a big big season for Cersei.

No, season 4 of Game of Thrones vs Breaking Bad season 5.2 This years Thrones vs last years BB. My mistake then. That should be a good contest. Wonder why True Detective didn't go for the easy victory that it would have had in miniseries. It would have swept the whole thing, every category.
