So here it is, the official Digimon thread. Discuss everything Digimon related, that you can think of, whether it has to do with your childhood or modern times.

 

Also of note, the reason why this thread is in the gaming board and not the TV or whatever is because Digimon actually started out as virtual pets in Japan before being turned into an anime.

 

I'll start, I loved Digimon as a kid. Digimon Adventures 1 and Tamers are awesome. Digimon World 2 and 3 were the shit when I was younger.

Digimon is a freaking bloodbath once they go back to the Digiworld. Whamon, Pixiemon, Numemon, Sabreleomon...

 

Etemon is my favorite villain.

Etemon was AWESOME. 

 

Look at Ken all friendly now in the sequel Digimon 2 - Revenge of Diaboromon  

 

He softened up by the end of the series and marries Yolei in the future becoming a private detective.

 

I just can't stop laughing at that concept.

But he was by far the best thing of Adventures 02. 

 

I have a Digimon game for PS2.

Tai's a lawyer, Matt and Sora's daughter is a small Matt while their son is a small Sora... It was all ridiculous.

Digimon World Championship looks fun, will have to pick that up as well as the Rumble Arenas.
