Maybe it was proportionally the worst opening for The Little Prince so far, very disappointing for the film. Remembering that this animation (The Little Prince) is already the most successful French animation history, has done decent in most areas hit Star Wars this weekend in Italy. I expected more from Venezuela. Arthur and the Mininimoys is the most successful french animation movie.

Correcting me: The Little Prince is the French film animation most successful of all time "OS" has raised to date over $ 90 million still missing debut in major markets such as USA, UK, Australia and Spain . Arthur and the Mininimoys grossed worldwide $ 107 million of these being US $ 46 million from only France, while The Little Prince took in $ 11.5 million in France. In all other territories, except Belgium and Germany, The Little Prince earned more. Edited January 13, 2016 by Gabriel Sales

A District 3 Engineer
Welcome to Venezuela, the country where movies like FF7 are watched for millions of people but great movies like Mad Max FR flops. I am glad you liked Joy, btw, it wasn't best DOR's directing but Jennifer was incredible. I liked Edgar here too. I really loved when his kids asked him "La bendición" lol Edited January 23, 2016 by A District 3 Engineer

titanic2187
hey,fellows.....i have a question about venezuela box office~ is it true that venezuela's market grow that fast recently? I saw venezuela keep bring in up to more than $20m for mega-blockbuster in 2015,which is hardly seen from previous year. Like it grossed $39m for furious 7 in 2015, which is unbelievable figure for me consider the population there is about 30m, anything wrong with the figure? I think that has been discussed multiple times in this thread. The dollar number reported is just monopoly money. studios are reporting based on 6.3 bolivars per dollar ER which is not the real number considering all companies(including studios) have written off venezuelan revenue. They should report based on 200 bolivars per dollar. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/business/us-companies-likely-to-ta/2438788.html venezuela bo only in admissions matter. ticket rates in bolivars have increased huge since few years back as the currency have little value.
