With inflation and 3D, 90-100m is the new 60-70m(as in when most Pixar films were opening in that range).

 

So if it opened to 65m then it would be the new 35m?

I wouldn't say DOFP opening in the 90s was a disappointment, that's a big increase over Wolverine and First Class and reinvigorated the franchise with life. Some people were just over predicting it.

I know they will "fudge" the estimate to at least 97.6. That's pretty much a guarantee at this point.
