Making my list right now, and IMDB is stupid. Sorry, but apparently any animated sci-fi doesn't count *looks at Lilo and Stitch and WALL-E*

I'd also argue Battle Royale is a sci-fi set in a dystopian future.

EDIT: What the heck, Safety Not Guaranteed and Treasure Planet aren't sci-fi either?? And Avatar isn't either?

Second edit: wait, didn't see there was more than three genre options oops

Safety Not Guaranteed only has 3 options on my IMDB browser, none sci-fi. And Stingray said it's too late to make cases for exceptions unfortunately.

Like I mentioned yesterday, I feel it is too late to make any new exceptions this close to the deadline, as it wouldn't be fair to all the members who have already sent in their lists.

Please respect this decision, and I will try to find a workaround to this issue next time we do something like this.

Maybe next time we can use IMDB but when there's a controversial exception we can vote on them in a nomination thread.

Yeah, that sounds good, but in any event I think it would be too late if a new movie became eligible just a day before the deadline. Anyways, if I do this again some time I will take all suggestions for rules and such into consideration.

Aside from Safety Not Guaranteed, were there any other movies you felt should have been eligible?

Stingray I put Safety Not Guaranteed on my list when I sent it to you ages ago. Does that not count? cos if not this is definitely bullshit.

F**k, sorry man, I completely missed that, made a boo-boo...

I think it's too late to include it now tho.

This one's definitely on me. I'm sincerely sorry, and I hope you accept my apologies.

nope. this whole operation is kaput as far as I'm concerned. I hope someone gets fired for this blunder.
