kitik
current rottentomatoes numbers: Nightcrawler - 95% after 88 reviews (8.2 rating out of 10) Interstellar - 72% after 39 reviews (7.5) Big Hero 6 - 100% after 12 reviews (7.8) That's incredible for Nightcrawler! Some recent movies for comparison: John Wick - 86% after 117 reviews (7.0) Fury - 79% after 196 reviews (7.0) St Vincent - 75% after 114 reviews (6.8) Gone Girl - 88% after 245 reviews (8.0) Birdman - 93% after 132 reviews (8.4) That's a freaking huge number for Nightcrawler after 88 reviews! Go see it, don't let it flop. And speaking of Birdman, it's adding 181 theaters this week. Nowhere around me, but maybe in another week or two most of us will finally have the opportunity to see it. Birdman Fox Searchlight 231 +181 +362.0% 3
bcf26
I must say that for my one year in the forums that this is the first time a box office numbers thread where there is only one reply which is also the creator of the thread. Well, make that two because of my post .
kitik
I'm assuming all the Nolanites (which is about half the forum) are in full meltdown mode and alternating between going crazy and running away from the box office boards.

Wrath
to be expected prior to the opening of a Nolan film. it will get back to normal and MORE soon... A Nolan movie with less than stellar reviews, anyway. Edit - Also, its been a *really* quiet last couple months. I suspect things will perk up again once Interstellar and BH6 are about to hit. Hatebox
Maybe the double whammy of DC and Marvel announcing a combined average of 37 movies a year gave some people a sense of ennui as far as this board goes.
forg
Sad Book of Life might not make it to even 60M Who would have thought Nut Job will out gross Planes 2, The Boxtrolls and possibly Book of Life
