I love Benedict Cumberbatch, he's one of my favourite actors, but he was not good in The Imitation Game.

I didn't think he was bad. he didn't ruin any scenes. mediocre definitely. could always catch him acting.

Part of the trouble is the awkward "LOL he doesn't think like normals" bullshit aspergers cliche that big bang theory loves so much that the movie's lame Oscar-winning screenplay also uses pretty liberally.

I acknowledge that Leonardo Dicaprio had a big, 'meaningful' impact on teenage girls in Titanic, but I don't think his performance was anything special.

 

For me, Benedict's bizarre performance wasn't even the issue, it was the film he was in. I really think it's a pretty bad film regardless of any performances or even the (as said above) nigh on offensive dialogue.

Hmm, I thought DiCaprio did a great job on TITANIC. It's a broad performance, and not much subtlety... but then again, neither is the character (or the movie).
