Anastasia Steele's inner goddess is the real hero of this story. They just cut her from the movie.

The truly horrifying thing is that this is only the tip of the iceberg of inner goddess mentions.

 

Half way through the first book I was hoping someone would knife her inner goddess and dump her in a landfill where the rest of the book belonged.

Honestly, the inner goddess would make these movies more entertaining. They should be embracing their trashiness, not running from it.
