hmm not seeing sellout reports like yesterday for JW hope it s not a bad sign it s early i know but yesterday was crazy...

When you're talking about daily numbers below $25 million a drop of just a few million can mean the difference between a ton of shows selling out or not.

Mad Max is crossing $140m today.

 

Anyways, I'm predicting $18m for Jurassic World today. It should be at about $290-300m at the end of the week break into the domestic top 10 by next Thursday.

That would be a drop of around 25% today. MOS dropped under 21% and the mid June range is 20% or under. JW also dealt wit a potential clincher NBA Finals game last night.

I just read Guru's weekend report. He said the goal was 450-500. Really setting the bar high there, Gitesh!  

After 18 years Gitesh is still awful with projections and extrapolations. He should know at this point that a film as back loaded during OW as JW is not finishing with Twilight or HP legs. He also wouldn't let go of AOU hitting $1.5 billion lol.

I would recommend using a different word, but JW is undoubtedly making up for AOU's supposedly lackluster performance.

i might be totally wrong, but i want to make my first predictions on this forum!

I'm seeing:

300 million - day 8

350 million - day 9

400 million - day 12

 

ill make a prediction for 450 and 500 after i see how well it holds this weekend.

a wild guess would be 450 by day 16 and 500 by day 22

I know. Just, too often, instead of appreciating numbers, it's... "Glad that piece of shit got stomped!" I should simply ignore it. I yearn for BatSupes and Civil War to finish with identical DOM totals... And I mean down to the penny.
