Suicide Squad needs to be pretty damn amazing to do that. At this point Marvel can coast to $500-600m WW on just a halfway decent output.

Like, seriously. That is such a stupid thing to say. I get that BvS had horrible reviews, and not good audience reception... But Thor 3 would have to pull off something SW7-esque to make $250+ mil. The Marvel audience is done growing. It will stay in Harry Potter territory. Really good movies, consistent grosses.

Thor 3 is adding Hulk, it will more than likely have a good chunk of IW setup, and everything about the project seems like it's better than the last two. 250M is a real possibility.

Civil War, with the hype, adding a ton of Avengers, and the excellent reviews, should have grossed $500+ mil EASILY. It's not even going to be close.

$250m is not at all a stretch for Thor 3. Winter Soldier jumped to $259m when the first movie only made $180m.
