Chloe Moretz is one of those actresses who seems like she is a much bigger star than she actually is. Her star vehicles have all flopped one after the other, and The 5th Wave will join them in January but she somehow comes out without any blame assigned to her.

It's because she doesn't have an actual fanbase except old pervs. did you see her imdb page? ewww

To become a teen star you have to get the young women and pre-teens.

No way Batfleck vs MOS outgrosses The Avengers fighting each other with Spider-man.

This could be closer than you think even if BvS is historic by nature.

We still don't know how the Marvel team is gonna play their Spidey Joker (pun intended).

I wish this wasn't accurate because I want Chloe to be successful but there's definitely some truth to it.

What do you know that the rest of the world doesn't?

Marvel made an interesting move turning their biggest draw into an unlikable asshole, couple that with people being sick of Spiderman reboots, and the effect AoU had on the hype on novelty of the franchise, this could easily stuggle against BvS, particularly since BvS opens first and has a similar premise. We'll have to wait for the trailers and response before saying anything conclusive though.

Netflix is like those streaming music sites, they are basically scavengers, studios resisted for years to make the pact with this devil...

I beg to differ. Netflix isn't a scavenger; if anything, they're very similar to Apple, Amazon, and the other streaming/VOD companies who the studios partner with. They pay negotiated packages for the rights to various studio libraries, and the studios have the option to get new deals with them as well.

The problem is that there isn't a single company or site or app where you can browse *everything* that's available and rent as you choose. In that regard, we're still behind where we were with video stories. But in part that's because the studios don't want to relinquish control -- each of them wants to be the controlling entity.

Nothing, the rest of the world knows it too.

Depends what you consider close. And Spidey's sorta been, y'know, run into the ground

don't see why Civil War will do better than AOU. The novelty of all the Avengers heroes together is now gone and the movie faced direct competition from X-men three weeks into its run

The Avengers have a bigger built in audience and Civil War is a sequel to one of the best superhero movies ever made.

BvS feels like a sequel to MOS, so it has a bigger mountain to climb.

The average person can clearly see that BvS is also a Batman film in addition to a Superman.

Thus giving it strong novelty

And and as we have seen many times recently, just because the previous film was well received doesn't guarantee a massive increase for the next one.
