Per Disney, "Avengers: Endgame" is the Highest Grossing Film by Admission - 259,992 since 2012! Thai &Hong Kong Titles also have good share on the market, but the Distributors has never disclosed any data hence not in the list above.

 

It won't be wrong to say Cinema in Myanmar is equivalent of Cinema in North Korea. Due to war and multiple coups, Mynamar film Industry is in terrible state. After WWII, No of Cinemas rose to 400 with 10 Feature Films releasing each year but after the coup of 1962, all Cinemas were nationalized with only military documentaries allowed to be screened and produced of feature films dropped significantly. It was not long until 1974, when new constitution came into force that allowed foreign films to enter the market but it didn't last long as military coup of 1988 gave another fatal blow to local productions (almost closed) and Western Films were blocked out. The No of Cinemas decreased from 244 to 71 in 2011, when Myanmar fully lifted the ban on Western Titles - "Titanic 3D" became the 1st American Title to screen (since 1988) with a gross of K132,020,335 / 49,128 Admits per MPA Data. At the end of 2021, due to military coup, Hollywood Titles once again withdraw from the market..

According to the MPA Asia Office and Walt Disney Co.'s Thailand Branch, because Cinema Market of Laos is too small, box office numbers are reported movie as part of Thailand's box office and hence detailed statistics for MPA Titles in Laos doesn't exist.

 

Per System Data, Partial Nos of Thai Title reported are $200K+ for "The Undertaker" - $350K+ for "LAHN MAH" 

 

There are currently 6 Cinemas in Laos, 3 Old-fashioned and 3 Modern — Modern Cinemas are managed by Major Cineplex (13 Screens/3,078 Seats)

It is pathetic. It could have been 40M+ but they kept Indian films banned for like ever, only unbanned last year and the first film that was released i.e. Pathaan after 2 months of digital release did 125K admits, ahead of Avatar 2 100K.

Jawan did 500K+ admits and if they keep Indian films open, the exhibition sector will grow and soon we will have 1M+ admits films and more,
