And Pixar's TGD. Who would have thought that going into 2015?

I liked Home.

Dreamworks's Home's $177M against Pixar's TGD's $119M so far.

You know what Home had going for it? It was actually good. HTT2 did well because it was secretly aimed at parents and grandparents more than kids.

The OS numbers weren't exactly great.

Yeah...the OS-numbers wasn't spectacular.....but it was better than how much Mr Peabody & Sherman made.

Home = $208M OS

Mr Peabody & Sherman = $164M OS

And Mr Peabody & Sherman went against 300: Rise of an Empire, the same weekend. Maybe OS audience found half-naked men with abs and swords, more of a box office-magnet than a duo of an intelligent talking dog and his boy.

Kids loved the first HT and begged their parents to see the sequel.

And there wasn't much else to see at the theater at the time.

Lmao no, Peabody wasn't released on the same weekend as 300 OS. Peabody came out in February or late March OS.

Yeah....but it was only released the same weekend DOM-wise. However, OS-audience wanted to see the 300-sequel more.....despite some claimed that film unneccessary.

Peadbody and 300 has the same audience?

No....but some other people...(specifically the male audience) wanted to see a popcorn-flick in March...so Rise of an Empire was one of their only choices.

And that film surprisingly did well, WW-wise, despite the factors going against that movie....(No Gerard Butler)
