Chewy almost became the poster child last summer for what a player can accomplish with their preseason scores. However, he failed to repeat that feat over the winter in emphatic style. 

 

Chewy managed to get 10 out of 15 which was never going to be a winning score, but compounded with a horrific gross prediction result, a miracle was never on the cards.

 

This also means that after 3 players revealed, Blanks is still our game leader...

My Word how the mighty can fall. Damienroc has been so consistently strong game after game after game and even over this winter he consistently showed why he, Jake and Wrathofhan and a few others are always forces to be reckoned with in this game.

 

But that 365k, ouch! again Damien only managed to get 10/15 (one of 5 players to not manage 11 or more.) and like Chewy, struggled with gross predictions. As things stand, damien's preseasons strength means that he does rise to the top of the pile, but is this a score that can challenge for the higher places?

And now we jump over 100 thousand points to the next top 15 score as Movieman is not just the first player we see break 400k, but also the first to break 500k. He is also the first player to appear after scoring 11/15. 

 

Movieman is a game regular and it's good to see him competing again, a few too many missed weeks meant that a challenge was never likely in the offing, but summer is just a few weeks away  

 

He is also unable to usurp Damien at the top of the table, as he slots in snugly below JJ8 in 4th place.

Another game regular comes to the fore and its another 11/15 showing. However, this time we finally have a player to score positive with the gross predictions, with a whopping 7000 points. 

 

However, despite some strong showings here or there, saks' preseasons did not do enough for a big challenge at the top. It was enough to bump players like JJ8 down an extra spot, but it does not challenge Damien's position at the top...

bcf has been a consistently good player all game and has pulled off a few good points hauls in different parts of the game. The top 15 score has sadly fallen a little short for any big challenge to be launched this winter, but that does not been this player will not be a thorn in the side of many a player this coming summer. 

 

This time around, 534k was just not quite enough to overtake Damien who has now withheld the challenge of 3 players.

 

How many more will he be able to beat off? And will Damien be able to beat off tele as soundly as he did during the summer?

And now we move on to the player who has declared himself the winner of this winter multiple times throughout the game. And wouldn't you know it, his bold declaration turned out to be... well we shall see.

 

One can always really on kayumanggi in this game. He will consistently perform strongly in weekly questions and look like a strong contender only to be suckered in by a dangerous SOTM and watch his points sadly drain away. 

 

That being said, he does take the lead, beating out damien by 150k. It's where you want to be, but will this lead last?

A new player and another trying the Chewy approach of putting all or nothing into their preseason. And as with Chewy it was a plan that lacked a little in success.

 

Maybe, this was a trial run in preparation for a bigger tilt over summer, but as winter stands he slots into 8th place.

Glassfairy was looking dangerous as Hidden Figures stormed into the top 15. In addition to a great Trolls prediction, things were looking very much on the up for this veteran player.

 

In fact, Glassfairy had one of the stronger preseasons in the game and likely would have been challenging for top spot at this point if more activity in the weekly questions had occurred.

 

 As it stand though, glass could not even beat JJ8, an embarrassment that they will be hoping never happens again.

On to a newer player now and one who came a whisker away from breaking the 600k barrier. Eric had a strong run in the SOTM questions and most of the preseasons before stumbling a little in the final reveal of this top 15.

 

However, he does find himself leaping into 1st place and the champions seat as we approach close to the top half of the top 15 scorers. Can Eric hold onto the his place at the top?

Well this is a turn up!! Jake stumbles into just 12th place with his top 15. How much is this going to cost him. As we know his lead was pretty healthy going into this round, but he is going to have to hope that a few choice contenders pop up on this list sooner rather than later. 

 

On the plus side Jake can happily sit back and bask in his superior 50 Shades knowledge, as well as enjoy that lovely 700k gap down to cooleric.
