Remember when Spaghetti was running away with this thing? They were simpler times back then. However, a few missed weeks later and a comparatively weak pre-season and Spaghetti's season has faltered some what. 

 

He has managed to slot into 2nd place behind Jake, which is no mean feat and I am sure he has the perfect facial expression in mind to express his feeling of this finish

Well this is a turn up!! Jake stumbles into just 12th place with his top 15. How much is this going to cost him. As we know his lead was pretty healthy going into this round, but he is going to have to hope that a few choice contenders pop up on this list sooner rather than later. 

 

On the plus side Jake can happily sit back and bask in his superior 50 Shades knowledge, as well as enjoy that lovely 700k gap down to cooleric.

As we enter the top 15 top 10, we see our first player to amass 300k in bonus points for the top 15. We are also approaching the totals that may be able to challenge Jake at the top. 

 

Archer is not going to challenge the top players this winter, but there is evidence on show here that a few more weekly questions and SOTM success could create a challenger here. As it stand, he slots happily into 5th place.

Oh, I want to comment on the scoring before my final score pops up (and thus while Im still relatively unbiased. 1st- Its amazing!, 28th - New scoring system sucks).

 

I like it. Different dramatic tension since you're not building towards a final top 2 or 3, instead you've got the uncertainty of where everyone will end up. The risk is that if you've got a top 3 prior to DOM 15 who are way ahead, and none of them are better than like 5th in Dom 15, you might lose some tension in the final 3 reveals since none will probably win.

 

On the other hand, the variety is nice. Maybe one for Summer game and one for Winter game?

And now we are into the 700s and thus not good news so far for Jake as he needs those players to pop up sooner. Dajk has had a pretty darn strong preseason, his top 15 may in fact be the weakest part of it. A couple more points here and there and Dajk may have risen all the way to the top. 

 

As it stands, he slots into 3rd place which is not to be sneered at, but still it is unlikely to stay that way.

I think chasmmi should use whichever method gives more dramatic tension. It'll vary depending on the scoring for each game.

It amazes me that Exxdee has yet to win one of these on my watch as he is always so consistently strong and always a contender. As the second player to break the 4 million mark, this is still not a performance to be sneered at and looking at the different scores here and there, it is also hard to see where the weakness was. 

 

There is the obvious strength of the inspired Boo prediction and some great weekly scores here or there. However the final result appears to be a result of a winter that was consistently good but with nothing amazing to complete that final charge.

 

With 7 players left to reveal, Exx is guaranteed to finish in the top 10 (as is Spaghetti below him), but how high up in the top 10?
