Both of the original teams and cast will return for the latter as details suggest you may not visit just Ethan’s imagination but multiple imagination and will focus on an older Ethan and the dynamic of his parents. Both of which are vying for a spot in Y7 with an untitled original and The Grim Movie Of Billy and Mandy. Posted March 22, 2019 Share Posted March 22, 2019 (edited) @cayommagazine A top industry insider and leaker Yen Sid: Critic Payer has a few more details on CYI2? - A few titles are being suggest such as Should You Imagine? or Would You Imagine? or Could You Imagine? - It may be a musical as well as songwriters from Endless Animation’s Medusa; Tim Rice and Alan Menken have joined on in undisclosed roles - It will take place during Ethan entering 7th grade and focuses on how he feel he should mature - Sasha, the little girl from the first, will have a much larger role in the sequel - Both Jennifer and Kyle have their own personal trials to face as well - and... Ethan may be getting a foster sister as Endless is considering Storm Reid and Marsai Martin for the role. - Multiple Animation styles will be used for different imaginations. Following the style of old school musicals and Hollywood blockbusters as Peter Griffin, bombastic fat idiotic patriarch of the Griffin household and Meg, his daughter who has faced much comical abuse must save the Griffin family and Quahog from total cancellation as the venture to Hollywood to get their show renewed as Ernie The Giant Chicken (Jason Statham) wants revenge and has created a series of the Griffins most evil foes to stop them. The film will be traditionally animated with a budget of about $60M in the vein of the animation is more similar and fluid to the older seasons of Family Guy and detailed for depth like The Simpsons Movie. The story takes place when two monkey brothers accidentally unleash a demon king who kidnaps Bollywood’s most beloved star as the two team up with the star’s pet monkey as they not only attempt to save the star but to save the world as they embark on a perilous journey avoiding unimaginable demons, deadly assassins, treacherous climates and a sentient banana. Monkeys on Mumbai will be directed by Kevin Lima (Enchanted) and Pixar alumni Sanjay Patel (Sanjay’s Super Team) from a script by Patel and Adrian Molina (Coco). The songs will be written by A. R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire) and Stephen Schwartz (Wicked). Monkeys on Mumbai is using the same Worldmeander technique that combines traditional hand drawn animation and computer animation used for films such as the billion dollar juggernaut, Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive and the upcoming Medusa and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl to give it a painting/watercolor like style. Genndy Tartakovsky will return to write and direct with Meg LeFauve as a co-writer. Endless Animation heads Chris McKay and Meg LeFauve will executive produce. You will I’ll be getting more details during the upcoming Y6 and Beyond conference but I’ll say this Spoiler They’ll won’t be just Ethan’s imagination as well see other people’s imagination all in different styles (cartoony computer animation, photoreal computer animation, Laika like stop motion, flash animation, Disney style traditional animation, etc); ex. We then see a woman in a racer uniform and helmet as she strods to her car and drives off, as she races to a mountain doing sick tricks and turns. and... As she makes it to the top of the mountain, the woman takes off her helmet, revealing it to be Carly (Gina Rodriguez) as Pigeon (Steve Carell) flies out of the passenger seat. Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive Carly: Woo! That was a rush! What was our time Pigeon? Pigeon flies back into the car as he grabs a stopwatch that reads 90 seconds. The two friends do a victory dance as they hear heavy panting from the backseat as Pigeon finds Fluffles (Lil Rel Howery), an orange tabby cat and Pigeon’s best animal friend, inside the trunk. Pigeon: Fluffles, What are you doing here? Fluffles (still hyperventilating): It was fish taco night yesterday, and one I eat the normal healthy amount of 9, I take a cat nap. It is not yet decided upon if series helmers Matt & Ross Duffer will return to helm either project but the studio is looking for new talent behind the camera for one of them.
