MODERATION:   Since we have like 3500 MCU threads, I’m just gonna post this here in hopes that everyone sees it, so that I don’t have to post it like 3500 times individually and spam all the threads:   When you’re talking about the MCU, please make sure that you’re talking specifically about that title in that thread. I.e; Dr Strange Thread is for Dr Strange.    And if you want to reference any other property, especially if it isn’t out yet, please use the spoiler t

But why should they completely change the concept of their series just to satisfy an adult crowd (on any level?) This would be like me getting bummed that Octonauts isn’t done as some 150m Pixar-esque spectacular.

I don't know if it necessarily had to be "Pixar-like" but it needed to be... more than that. I could go into detail but I suspect that doesn't interest you. I'll just say that the show would never have gotten to such a big adult following if it didn't actually appeal to them at all.
