Heretic
Big drops. Snow today definitely didn't help.
JCS
Holidays well and truly over now so weekdays will be quite small from now on anyway until mid-February.
SchumacherFTW
Django isn't getting enough screens to pass £5m this weekend. My local is only showing it 3 times a day!
Heretic
It's such a weird schedule. Mine has only 4 :wacko:Usually new releases have 6 or 7 at least, and another thing that puzzles me GREATLY...the last showing is at 8:50. WTF? It's an adult movie. Texas Chainsaw, Gangster Squad and Les Mis had shows after 11. The Impossible has a showing at 11:30 and The Hobbit had showings very late from 11-midnight when it first came out...how can this stop before 9?Maybe nearer £3m is the target with good legs over the award season. It's going to get interesting with both Lincoln and Zero Dark thirty opening the following week. Edited January 15, 2013 by Heretic
SchumacherFTW
I think competition is stronger than any of us anticipated. Life of Pi and The Impossible are doing far better numbers and holding stronger than I ever imagined possible.
Jonwo
I think the length prevents it from getting more times, I imagine Lincoln and ZDT will have similar problems because theyre both pretty long.
JCS
A lot of long films releasing soon (Django, ZDT, Lincoln) in an already packed market with loads of films doing well means they won't get that many showtimes.
RthDeadWov
LM tues be around 1.2 m up over 30% on tues, lop similar increase , all up over 40% increase over Mon
Jonwo
Will be interesting how Les Mis fares tomorrow, I'm thinking £1.9-2m, think most films will increase again with the expected dropoff on Thursday.
iceroll
I hope Les Mis has amazing legs in UK, and it will need it to make up for how much Mamma Mia made.
Jonwo
It'll be very hard for Les Mis to get even close to Mamma Mia! At this point, I think £35-40m total is more likely.
Robertron
Big drops. Snow today definitely didn't help.I wish I had snow
JCS
Les Mis could even get to £2M today!Finish with £35M-£40M I think. Nowhere near Mamma Mia.
Heretic
Expect some very muted grosses I think this weekend. On Friday and Saturday almost the entire country is meant to be getting hit by a snowstorm.
Heretic
That would be about £10.2m so far for Les Mis then. Probably around £13m by Thursday, and then it depends what happens over the weekend.
SchumacherFTW
I've heard at least 3 sets of people talking about Les Mis at college today. This could be set to have a longer run than I anticipated.

SchumacherFTW
What's the weather looking like around you guys? We're cold down here but haven't been too affected by snow yet. We're set to get some tomorrow but I don't think our BO numbers will be too affected by it.
Heretic
We're forecast snow for tomorrow but they don't know how much. It's keeps changing. Look like more western areas will bare the brunt, so hopefully not too big of an impact.
