Surprised this really didn't screen at any festival, don't have reviews or even reactions despite being out next Friday.

I'm pretty sure something similar happened with The Mule, held back until release. I saw a critic for Variety/Ebert's site on twitter asking about trying to get a screening but complaining WB is tricky lately. Regardless of quality, this probably wasn't gonna be an awards play anyway but still bizarre.

Like every Warner Bros. release this year, “Cry Macho” will be available to stream on HBO Max the same day as it appears in theaters, a situation Eastwood dryly dismisses as “not my favorite thing in the world. How that’s going to work out at all? I still don’t know.”

Same RT percentage as Cinderella. Lmao wtf. Maybe Eastwood should've included some girlboss musical numbers in this

You're cracking jokes, but I fail to see how a movie would not be improved by Idina Menzel singing Material Girl.

43% on RT, 4.10 average with 15 reviews

55 average on metacritic with 16 reviews

It have some positives to enter on RT so let's see if it can rebound, it's very bad there. On metacritic is mixed but way better at least.

The 4.1 rating is way worse than the 43% score, what the hell.
